Deep into Orga Territory
For the first time in what felt like ages i took the chance to join what promised to become a challenging hunt. Arilonian scouts seemed to have found another camp of a group of Orga and Pirates close to the regular Orga Camp 4. With a group of 11 people we made our way to the Orga Woods, where the signs of Pirates close at hand were visible nearly everywhere. I also got the impression, that the Orga fought more strategic than before, placing many Shaman and Warlock guards into the ways, but our healers and especially Harnic did a great job in rodding them.
We got to the tomatoseller rather quickly and here for the first time we got into a bit of trouble when the group dispersed a little and was then attacked by several strong Orga, Pirates and ranged attackers. Luckily we were able to regroup soon and were able to regain the snell. On our way back north to catch some late Arilonians we encountered some LDAVs, but our group quite easily dispatched them. In general the large vermine still posed a threat to the healers when attacking in packs, but the group worked well together, eliminating these threats always shortly after their appearance.
Back south some stronger Pirates had driven their slaves towards us and several times hoards of enemies combined with flung fireballs, bolt or flames created exciting moments, but we always kept the upper hand.
When we started for the way to Camp 4 and reached the northern turn of the labyrinthine way, we nearly faced annihilation. Suddenly not only the previous threats had to be faced, but there were also bombs and burning catapult ammunition shot at us! Luckily a small part of the group survived and began fighting off monsters threatening the healers, gathering in the rest and regrouping. We decided that stopping would be the sure road to death, as we had no way to fight the ranged attackers behind the treeline.
This proved nearly fatal again, as not only two Dredlock and several larger Orgas came towards us, but the BRO even turned out to be an OrgaFrenzy! My heart began to pound louder. Even though i had wished to face one of those, remembering being able to defeat them before the great storm, i had hoped it to be in a less dangerous situation. Completely focussed on the fight, i was sweating, dodging, stabbing - but after a while i realised: i wasn´t hurt seriously, i was able to evade nearly each and every fist the huge Orga swung at me! With renewed vigour and determination replacing the bit of fear that was left, i attacked more boldly and soon we were able to finish the Frenzy.
We took the next turn, heading north again, when we saw increasing monster activity, hinting to the camp being close by. Now Also Pirate wizards took part in the battle and even some of the fearsome Orgas from the Orga Plains and Yarimada were coming to stop us, but we prevailed.
Soon we were on the outer edge of the camp, which seemed to be built solely to stop us, as the sign "End of Orga Camp" indicated. We had to fight hard just to keep the edge, but each time we had some room to breathe we were able to recover a little less than the time before. One of our fallens was able to send his spirit into the camp and spy, so we knew we might at least conquer some magic artefacts, but cleaning the camp proved well impossible. In the end, despite a brave effort, the group went down, but not with empty hands. Ursus had managed to slip through some gaps in the defense and proudly presented his findings in town. It had been a great hunt, which i hope to experience again soon.

A trip to Aroona
Yesterday i stuck my nose out of the meditation tower again. My first journey took me to the fighter guilds outpost in the hidden valley to seek admittance to the 4th circle again. Sadly the result has not changed since the last tries, but at least i managed to evade most of the Cobras bites while harming it enough to run away from me. I still have no idea how strong the hyena is, as my struggle with the Leopard left him bleeding and myself fallen - failing the test again.
Afterwards i joined a trip to Aroona, after it had been promised to me it wouldn´t involve much time in the water - oh, how they had tricked me! Ag first we progressed well enough, even collecting several very valuable furs, like the one Falk managed to recover here.
A bombthrowing pirate and a bunch of panthers costed us our only healer Frenzymac and rescue took quite some time, before we progressed again. We met a Tikari, a stronger relative of the Tigris, but to the combined efforts of our group it didn´t stand a chance.
Just behind a bridge we then came upon a camp of Orga, Pirates and some Taesu-Lyfelidaes. Luckily i wasn´t hurt too bad and still found enough strength to stop Rion from entering the water in his rescue.
In our next effort we managed to enter the actual camp and destroy some lightening statues and we found a scroll and a moonbook there. When reinforcements left the huts, the retreat became chaotic and lots of people fell. Falk, Elaine, Lafa and myself had to retreat to the lake (staying in a boat is better than being dragged into the water head-down, but not by much) and had a hard time clearing a way until Falk finally managed to chain out enough helpers to rescue all the group.
As several people had to leave by that time, we only briefly tried to bring down one of the strong Lyfes, but it regenerated too fast and too few of us were able to hurt it for our effort to bear fruit.
Back in town i caught a glimpse of Teboor waiting for some Arilonians, but as i had to sleep i couldn´t talk to him myself. Still, the others wrote a log about the meeting and Rion added his own thoughts on his scroll.
